London to Manchester by Bicycle

This time last week a team of novice cyclists made up of NHS employees and British Army reservists were approximately 170 miles into a 220 mile bike ride. They started at the proton centre build in central London and were cycling to the corresponding build just outside central Manchester. The goal was to raise £15,000 for the London centre to provide state of the art equipment and care for NHS proton patients.
